AMTIL
Manufacturing Association Australia
The Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL) is the peak national body representing the interests of Australian manufacturing technology suppliers and users within the precision engineering and advanced manufacturing sector.
We pride ourselves on providing members with exclusive advantages. AMTIL represents Australian manufacturing technology suppliers and users in their mission to be globally competitive. AMTIL delivers a diverse array of opportunities for your business and the wider manufacturing community in Australia to prosper and grow. We offer further opportunities to members to delve into their industry with our extended reach.
AMTIL also produces the Australian Manufacturing Technology (AMT) magazine, your bi-monthly magazine published by AMTIL and distributed to over 7000 people nationally. It’s a magazine by the industry, for the industry, providing detailed coverage of all aspects of advanced precision manufacturing, with a special focus on metal machinery, cutting and fabrication. AMT provides information, education and support to the manufacturing technology industry and therefore supports AMTIL members in their business interests. The AMT magazine is delivered to the members in hard copy as well as being available online in downloadable PDF.
AMTIL stages the largest and most important manufacturing industry trade show in the country, Australian Manufacturing Week (AMW). This incorporates the original machine tools exhibition called Austech as well as the wider range of industrial manufacturing sectors collectively now as Australian Manufacturing Week.
AMTIL Members can also take advantage of exclusive privileges by utilising ManufactureLink, Australia’s premier. ManufactureLink intelligently connects those seeking to have something manufactured, those sourcing manufacturing technologies, or those requiring business support services with the assistance they need. As an online resource, ManufactureLink asks simple questions to line up what the member is looking for from the resource provider.
AAMN exists to unite industry professionals, researchers, and government stakeholders to create a vibrant community focused on advancing additive manufacturing technologies. Through networking, knowledge sharing, and collaborative efforts, AAMN aims to promote and support the adoption and development of additive manufacturing across key sectors.
Manufacturing Industry events
AMTIL also stages local Maximise Your Membership events throughout Australia, at various points on the calendar. Bringing members together for exciting networking opportunities, there is always a chance to collaborate and mix business ideas with some cheer, especially at the end of a busy year. AMTIL’s Corporate Golf Days and state-by-state Christmas Dinner Functions are always a great opportunity to meet your industry colleagues and set up for the following year.
